Come and join us as we spend the day in glorious Buxton preparing Haydn’s last great mass for a performance with small orchestra and soloists in the late afternoon.
Not only that, but workshop participants can then return for the Buxton International Festival performance of this work at the Festival Mass on Sunday 19 July.
Participants in this Singing Day are also invited to join the performance of this work in the Buxton International Festival on Sunday 19 July 2026 where the work will be sung in its original setting as part of the Sunday morning Eucharist Service with full orchestra and soloists from the Buxton International Festival Company. Singers are required to attend two further Thursday evening rehearsals in Buxton, including the final chorus rehearsal on Thursday 16 July. There will be a further fee of £10 to cover costs of this performance.
