Welcoming new members (North Wales)

About the event:

Join Making Music and Creative Lives for a free event in Wrexham.

This will be an opportunity to meet other creative groups working in a range of artforms, and take part in a facilitated conversation about welcoming new members to your group.

If you’d like to attract new participants to your group, join us to consider:

• What might inspire somebody to join your group
• How people find out about your group
• How they get in touch - and how you respond
• What happens when they come along for the first time
• How to make sure new people feel welcomed, looked after and keen to return
• What turns an eager newcomer into somebody who doesn't come back…
• For anyone who runs or takes part in a creative group - singing, music, drama, dance, visual arts, crafts, writing, photography, film.

Drinks and light refreshments will be available - please let us know if you have any dietary requirements.
