Featuring Eduardo Vassallo, CBSO Principal Cellist for 36 years, playing Dvorak's Cello Concerto, the Rutland Sinfonia bring it's 50th Anniversary Season to a close with a concert including the music of Edward Elgar, Ralph Vaughan-Williams, and local young composer Becky Taylor.
The orchestra have been associated with the music of Elgar throughout it's 50 years, thanks to its founder Barry Collett, and Enigma Variations is a fitting way to close the season.
