What's Next Wind Band!

Stepping out from education and navigating the world of work isn’t always easy and often with this transition comes a period where hobbies fall to the wayside, either through lack of time, funds, or available spaces in orchestras and bands. Music is an important way for many of making friends and finding community, coping with the mental challenges which come from transitioning into adulthood and most importantly, having fun!

This is where ‘What’s Next Wind Band’ comes in - a wind band day specifically for brass, wind and percussion players aged 18-35 on Saturday 6th June 2026 at Squire Arts Centre, Nottingham.

The emphasis of the day will not only be on high-quality music making, but also on fostering community. So if you’re between 18-35 and want to meet some like-minded musicians do come and join us.
